Things are looking up

The Lord has a special way of preparing us for what we are supposed to do/be. Nate and I have been married for 4 1/2 years and he's been going to school and working hard every semester. He is finishing his last class for his minor this semester which is a BIG accomplishment. We are taking it a lot slower than most people, mostly because this is the direction the Lord has taken us. Yesterday Nate felt the confirmation that he needed to take school even slower and only take one class a semester for a little bit (at least until he gets through his chemistry classes). Working 30 hours a week and taking organic chem and his last engineering class and trying to be an awesome dad and husband was wearing him down. He was turning into zombie husband...not good. So, he dropped his chem class today and was able to get all of his engineering project done and have time to do the laundry for me! He played with Keith outside for over an hour allowing me to exercise. We know that doing this will keep us at BYU-Idaho for an additional year and a half, but we are COMPLETELY okay with that. We love it here so much! We are so grateful for Nate's job and how the Lord has provided for us every step of our marriage. We wouldn't mind living in Rexburg for the rest of our lives. I know mind blowing!
With only taking one class Nate will now be able to spend more time in the scriptures, and go to the temple once a week which has been something he has wanted to do but never been able to. We decided that if this is where the Lord wants us, why rush our way through causing lots of stress? Nate wants to enjoy his educational experience and spend more time with his family, and now he can! Things are definitely looking up!
