Camping!!!

We took our family to Burch Creek Camp Ground which is near the Montana/Idaho border about 70 minutes from our house. We braved the 90 degree weather and three children and actually had a lot of fun! For the most part everyone was happy, and no one tripped or bumped their heads or anything that involved blood, so that was a major plus :) The campground is free, which is awesome and they have "bathrooms" spread throughout. It is situated along side a creek and they have camp sites following the water. We were lucky enough to find a camp site with some little trails in some shade that the kids had a blast being "explorers" in. and one of the trails ran right by the creek so we got to spend some much needed time in the water after setting up our tent and waiting for our dutch oven dinner to cook. I was even brave enough to get in the water, although I didn't put any pictures of myself. Me in a swim suit is not something I want to share and this time. Being only 14 weeks pregnant I am at the "lumpy" stage, where you can't tell for sure if I am pregnant or just "letting myself go". We brought Keith and Hyrum's dump trucks to play with (thanks Grandma Burt for the early b-day present for Hyrum. They play with their trucks together every day!) They had tons of fun driving them through the trails and in the dust. That is probably the only downer of this camping place, there is a LOT of dusty dirt and Hyrum couldn't seem to stay out of it. So the kids were very filthy by the time we got home, but what else can you expect? The kids only got bored for about one hour of the whole camping trip, and Keith said to me, "mom...where are the video games?" I responded, "What! there are no video games in nature??? How can that be?" Then he said, "Mom, you forgot to pack the tv!!" Then we explained how there isn't electricity when you camp and he was fine with that answer. Few!

Here is Nate showing off his muscles in the swift current. The kids were only safe if they stayed within three feet of the bank.

 Playing with their trucks

It was so hot that I stayed in my swim suit and t-shirt 90% of the time. Nate had a lot of fun taking pictures of me so "naked". You can kind of see my baby bump in this picture.
And Nate wanted to turn me into some sort of hair super model or something in this picture :)
