Last week we had Grandpa Boyd and Grandma Janet Burt over for dinner to see our new house. During dinner Grandma told us that they wanted to give us some money so we could get some outside play toys for her great-grandkids. We were so very grateful! We decided that we would get a swing set/ slide combination. K-mart was having a sale for memorial weekend and they had the perfect set so we bought it! There were LOTS of pieces to this swing set and we spent probably 6 hours setting it up, but it was suprisingly a lot of fun in the process! Nate and I joked around when things didn't go right instead of getting frustrated at each other like we sometimes ( a lot ) do. And the kids LOVE it! We are so grateful and blessed to live so close to grandparents who want to help when they can. I feel so lucky to be living near them especailly during their last stages (hopefully not...but you know what I mean) of life.
